About the Game

RunGunJumpGun is a tough as nails twitch platformer that puts a teeth-rattling, gravity-defying mega-weapon in your hands. With reflex testing helicopter-game inspired controls, RGJG strands you in a galaxy so dangerous, so unforgiving, so hardcore, that you’re the only dude stone cold bad enough to survive. With a cast of crazed characters, challenging gameplay, and pulsing musical score, RunGunJumpGun is a loud, colourful mess of twitchy platforming fun.

Eons after the collapse of galactic civilization, a lone survivor makes his way through the tattered remains of a post-apocalyptic solar system. As a chorus of bullets breathes life into this abandoned string of planets, a curious cast of onlookers emerges from the void. All of them want something from this reluctant hero. None can be trusted.
Armed with only your wits, cunning, and an ungodly heap of roaring iron and lead, all that’s left to do is try and outrun the madness. And die a million times trying.

About ThirtyThree

The team behind RUNGUNJUMPGUN met as co-workers at a marketing company in Alberta, Canada. When Matthew and Logan (artist and programmer) left the company in late 2014, they planned to create a small video game as a farewell card to their colleagues; something cute with everyone’s face in it and lots of heartwarming inside jokes. Jordan joined shortly after to compose music and act as writer for the project as the scope of RunGunJumpGun expanded into a full title (a full title in desperate need of sweltering hot jams and a story for the ages). The trio worked out of their local library's makerspace for the summer, before moving into a co-working space based out of an old whiskey storage warehouse near the end of the year. RunGunJumpGun was Greenlit for distribution on the Steam Marketplace in December 2015.
